Okkultist, founded by Beatriz Mariano and Leander Sandmeier, is the vision of the beast coming to life. Through an exhilirating and transcendental combination of black and death metal, with spellbinding blood drenched visuals, the duo has summoned the prophetic rejuvenation of all phases of the beast's metamorphosis which has brough to this world the unique, charming and ominous entity Okkultist was born to become.
By the side of Alma Mater Records, with two globally eye-catching albums "Reinventing Evil" [2019] and "O.M.E.N." [2023], with features on Revolver Mag., Metal Injection, and Metal Hammer [DE], Okkultist has claimed its identity in the realm of blackened death metal ascenders.
In 2019, we said that OKKULTIST “still have a bit of work ahead of them in establishing their own identity.” On O.M.E.N., they’ve truly started to find their feet and have staked their claim for a seat at blackened death metal’s table of future leaders.
